Studio on Brunswick ("we", "us", "our") is committed to protecting your personal information in accordance with the Australian Privacy Principles under the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth). This policy explains what we collect, why, and how we use it.
1. What we collect
Information you give us directly
When you submit an enquiry or make a booking through this site, we collect:
- Your name, email address and phone number
- Details about your intended workshop or session (date, type, group size, any special requirements)
- Messages you send us via the enquiry form or by email
Payment information
Card payments are processed by Stripe (Stripe, Inc.). We do not store your card number, CVV or full payment details on our servers. Stripe handles all payment data under their own privacy policy and PCI-DSS compliance. We receive only a token reference and payment status.
Calendar and booking details
Confirmed booking details (name, session date and time) are recorded in Google Calendar for scheduling purposes.
Technical information
We may collect standard web server logs (IP address, browser type, pages visited) for security and performance monitoring. If Google Analytics is enabled, it may collect aggregated usage data in accordance with Google's privacy policy.
2. Why we collect it
We use your personal information to:
- Process and manage your studio hire booking or enquiry
- Communicate with you about your booking, including confirmations, reminders and invoices
- Collect deposits, balance payments and bond charges
- Comply with our legal obligations under Australian Consumer Law
- Improve our services and understand how our website is used (aggregated analytics only)
We do not use your personal information for unsolicited marketing without your consent.
3. Who we share it with
We share your data only with the following third-party service providers, strictly for the purposes of operating our booking system:
- Stripe — payment processing. See stripe.com/au/privacy
- Google (Calendar & Analytics) — scheduling and optional aggregated analytics. See policies.google.com/privacy
- Resend — transactional email delivery (booking confirmations, reminders). See resend.com/privacy-policy
- Cloudflare — hosting and content delivery. See cloudflare.com/privacypolicy
We do not sell your personal information to any third party.
4. How long we keep it
We retain booking records (name, email, session date, payment status) for a minimum of 7 years to meet Australian tax and record-keeping requirements. Enquiry messages that do not result in a booking are retained for up to 12 months. You may request deletion of your data at any time by contacting us (subject to our legal retention obligations).
5. Your rights
Under Australian privacy law you have the right to:
- Access the personal information we hold about you
- Request correction of inaccurate or incomplete information
- Complain about a breach of your privacy

If you are not satisfied with our response, you may lodge a complaint with the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner (OAIC) at oaic.gov.au.
6. Security
We take reasonable steps to protect your personal information from misuse, interference, loss, and unauthorised access. Our booking system is hosted on Cloudflare's global infrastructure and uses HTTPS encryption for all data in transit.
